More 2023 Random Photos

Here are a few more random photos across the spring of 2023.  Enjoy!

Some 2023 Random Photos

In early 2023 we had a new pet join us – Juniper the cat.   Kai and Noah were home for December break and Kai was with us through all of January as he was taking a class online for his winter term.

2022 – Kai’s Senior Portraits

We hired a professional photographer to take some senior portraits for Kai.   They turned out beautifully.

Fall Parents Weekend in New England

October came around and borders were open so Ben headed back to New Hampshire for parents weekend at Brewster and to take Kai and Noah out for a long weekend in Boston.  We tried to hit a show of Mamma Mia but our tickets fell through – despite that we enjoyed ourselves and found time to his some of our favorite places.

Summer 2021 (gallery 2)

Another summer gallery posted.  Enjoy!

Wisconsin Vacation Wrapup

…and then vacation started to wind down.  Once Kai arrived it was only about a week before we started getting COVID tests and preparing for our travel back to Saudi Arabia.   Enjoy the pictures!

2020 Catchup Gallery #3

We are almost caught up – this is the penultimate catch-up gallery.   Here are some more pictures of the late spring and early summer that we navigated under COVID restrictions and some brutal summer heat.  We normally can get out for part of the summer but not this year.

Jebel Visit

Here is another gallery ready. This one is of another trip to Grandma and Grandpa Jacobs place – Jacobs’ Jebel. The cousins were still there which meant some sledding and Nora got a sewing lesson.

December 2019 Gallery

Here is another gallery of the last bit of Thanksgiving vacation with Kai and the start of December.  Enjoy!

Thanksgiving in the Desert

With Kai off at school most of the year it was a real treat to have the family back together for this week culminating in Thanksgiving. Since Thursday is a work day here in Saudi Arabia we celebrated with a Turkey meal on Friday as we typically do. It was extra special to have both Kai and Nora up early on Friday morning so we could have the feast ready for mid-day. Not every middle and high schooler will willingly get up early to help Dad cook. The day was made complete by attending Crystal performance in the Holiday performance of the Dhahran Chorale group.
