A Summer Visit to Arlington

The week before we came back we packed up the car and headed down to Arlington Minnesota to visit family.   The first day we went out to the Posts’ farm to have dinner with Aunt Lea Ann, Uncle Steven and Cousin Nina.  Grandma and Grandpa Wiemann also were there and Uncle Paul and Bev stopped by as well.

Visiting the farm is a favorite for Kai and Nora since they have chickens (Lea Ann stacked the coop so that there were sure to be plenty of eggs to find) as well as goats, cats, and lots of room to run around.

More Danbury Pictures

We have been back for two days now and jet lag seems to be pretty mild this time.  I have a few more galleries of pictures from our summer trip back to Minnesota and Wisconsin that I’ll be posting in the coming days.  To start with, here are a few of the kids.

Summer Photoshop

Well our early summer vacation has drawn to a close.  We have successfully made the transatlantic trip once again with little incident unless you count Kai’s meltdown in Amsterdam when he was going on almost 20 hours with no sleep.

Below are a series of photoshopped or otherwise enhanced images that I took over this vacation at our house in Wisconsin.  I still have a few more galleries of different family visits that I will post in the coming days so stay tuned!

A Jebel Visit

Our vacation is slipping by faster than I can get pictures uploaded.  These are from a visit to the Jacobs’ Jebel last week where Kai and Nora had a chance to play with the puppies.  They really look forward to the dogs and Kai has been putting the hard sell on getting a dog of our own.

Memorial Day 2009

I was in the grocery store in Webster the other day with Kai.   As we were checking out he announced to the woman ringing up our groceries “I don’t have just two Grandma-Grandpas, I have two Grandmas and two Grandpas.”   How lucky we were that both the Wiemanns and the Jacobs were able to visit over the Memorial Day weekend.  Aunt Lea Ann and Cousin Nina also came for several days and Uncle Paul and Bev were able to stop by as well.  The weather could not have been better!
