Here are a few random pictures from the last few weeks – everything from artwork to school pictures. Enjoy!
The Blue and Gold ceremony was recently held in the Ad-Diwan building. The ceremony marks the anniversary of the Cub Scout program and is also when major ranks have been awarded. Kai was awarded his Bear Scout badge!
A few weeks ago the pack held the Cub Scouts held an event that allowed scouts the chance to practice some time honored sports such as archery, tomahawk tossing and spear throwing. The local Boy Scouts got a great opportunity to practice some leadership and the scouts had a lot of fun. A good time was had by all provided they had a high tolerance for elementary students throwing sharp objects.
Crystal is an assistant instructor at a Dog Rally school taught through the community education program at the schools. They meet every Friday in the early morning and sit, heel, jump and run through tunnels. It is the highlight of Webster’s week.
A couple of years ago Kai got a Dinosaur Dig kit for his birthday. It got put in a corner behind a bookshelf and was forgotten until Nora dug it out recently. Thankfully it consisted of two “fossils” so they could each do a dig. Each block had some resin fossil remains inside a matrix of artificial sandstone. They had great fun uncovering the remains and had a dusty, dirty good time.
Kai is currently involved in two sports – a soccer league and a flag football group. Here are a few recent pictures.
