Here is a pretty large gallery that rounds out our trip around the Iceland ring road, around the Snefellsness peninsula and then back down to the Blue Lagoon and Rekyavik.

Jacobs family taking in the magestic Detifoss
Crystal in the spray near Detifoss
Kai on the slippery basalt rocks near Detifoss. Given that his arm was in a full cast it probably was not wise to scramble over the wet rocks near a 40m drop.

Walking down for a better look near Detifoss
A cascade downstream from Detifoss.
Pretty sure this is an ice sheet with a hole in it where the ice had not frozen over.

Crystal and Nora near Myvatn
Walking toward some hot spots near Myvatn. The board walks were to keep people from stepping on potentially boiling hot ground.
The ground is active for sure. I'd bet money the boardwalk was straight when it was first installed.

Seabird hovering over something that must be tasty
Seabird gathering. This is where a stream fed into the ocean so there must have been some concentration of food.
I love this picture. A column of basalt cubes on the beach on the Snefellsness peninisula
Crystal walking on the very windy western most tip of Snefellsness
Sea rocks and some twisted basalt columns on the Snefellsness peninsula
