Here is a gallery from the family gathering for Christmas which included Paul, Lea Ann, Steve, Nina, Sara, Art, Ellen, Julie, Eric, Charlotte, Evelyn and Teddy. With the 4 of us as well it was a cozy house. We feel really fortunate that even with a short trip we were able to gather so many family together at the same time.

Fondue is another Christmas eve tradition that we didn't want to miss this year. With as many people as we had we decided to do a kids sitting and then another for the adults.
Crystal is the safety officer for the kids cooking thier own food in hot oil.

Since the kids were tiny we've always made porridge for the reindeer on Christmas eve to set out along with the cookies.
It has an oatmeal base and then whatever spices the kids wanted to throw in. This year had a little bit of everything from cinamon to cloves and curry powder. Heavy on the garlic
