One of my favorite things each summer is to go biking on the local trails and back roads. Traffic is low and scenery is high and the rides are great – either shorter ones with Kai and Nora (though Kai and I did hit 10 miles one day) or longer ones alone. This summer my bike riding was cut short with a broken spoke and no nearby place to get it fixed and so I end my summer with 268 miles on the odometer. Here are a few pictures where I paused long enough to snap a photo.
A Few Random Pictures
We had quite a shammal blow in yesterday–lots of fine dust. It has been a cold, dry winter here so far but it sure beats the hot, humid summers. The dust meant no soccer practice so we headed into Khobar to purchase some birthday gifts for parties Kai and Nora are invited to and had a dinner out. On a completely unrelated note here are a few random shots from the last week or two.
